I thought it would be nice to share with you my experiences from my recent trip to India.
In the entire terrible year that has passed, I have not found it necessary to travel until now, when I realized that a year has passed since the last time I visited there and I must do new things. I was very excited about the trip, but to be honest, it was difficult for me. The distress, pain, and sorrow for the kidnapped and the bloody country did not let me go. I went to produce for my business, for my customers, for the season that is about to change, but every thought about the future is filled with pain and uncertainty. Nevertheless, there were some good experiences and beautiful moments full of abundance and color that inspired me to continue creating beautiful and joyful items.
I spent hours in dusty, damp warehouses choosing crazy fabrics for jackets and bags. Full
Deliberations: opening, turning, imagining how it would look in a jacket or maybe actually in a bag, endless abundance, but in the end I chose. With the help of this sweet woman and with very few words, I came away with a large haul that will become rare items that are one pieces.
I travel everywhere with my driver who has a style like no other! Every morning he puts on a show with (surprisingly) not-so-good perfume, a colorful shirt and matching pants, and most importantly - the moccasins.
On our trips from factory to factory, he sometimes takes me through hidden parts of the city and suddenly we discover a beautiful, juicy, and tempting vegetable market. I had to stop to take pictures. What fun it is to see women traders, the spectacular aesthetics of the arrangement of vegetables, amidst the poverty there is so much abundance.
How can we do without striped bags? As you know, the stock is almost sold out and this is my favorite product, so here are some of the new colors that will be in the next collection, there will be the classic models that are available every season with the addition of a few cool surprises.
Many of the clothes and bags I make are made from "upcycled" materials, both for environmental and beauty reasons. They used to make finer things :) These are, for example, handmade embroidered tribal skirts from the Gujarat region of India, and right now they are on their way to becoming spectacular jackets that will turn heads.
I try to maintain my workout routine when I'm in India, and it's become a bit of a hobby to look for a gym wherever I go. Here's an example of a particularly colorful gym with one treadmill that everyone is allotted 10 minutes on.
Over the years, I have forged true friendships with very special people in each of the regular places I visit. The most meaningful friendship is with Shanti and her family. They are a family of gypsies who make a living by making amazing handmade beaded jewelry. They also play music, dance, and do fire shows. Their tent neighborhood has no electricity or running water, but it has tribalism, mutual help, laughter, freedom, and lots of love.
This time I brought the children gifts of coloring books and markers, tattoos to stick on, and dolls that they all share together.
This gorgeous family makes jewelry for me, this time with elements I brought with me from Israel. When I want to rest, I come to their tent and enjoy the simplicity and good company, matcha and homemade food cooked over the campfire just the way I like it.

I returned to the country exhausted and dusty, I worked hard. It was worth it because this is what I love to do, to search for and find treasures, in clothes, jewelry and people. The collection will arrive in a month on the website and in the store. It's worth the wait.
And until then - let's start again until everyone returns home!
